With recent warnings about the massive environmental impact of single-use plastics, it's time to reconsider our lifestyle choices and this includes our pet supplies and husbandry. As a self-funded guinea pig rescue, costs are massively important to us but we cannot ignore the impact our choices have on the environment and we are always try to find ways to improve things. However it is sometimes very difficult to find a suitable plastic-free alternative, and this is where this blog comes in. I hope we can share, support and educate each other and work together to ensure our small pets are not costing the earth!
